Elsa's Blessing

We blessed Elsa at our church over the weekend. My parents flew in from NY especially for the occasion. The Lewis' drove up from Vernal to be there too. It was enjoyable to be surrounded by our family and friends for the exciting day.
Jeanne has a phenomenal camera (I was so glad she brought it) and a good eye for picture taking. She managed to get the best pictures of Elsa.
My cousin, Lisa, made Elsa's blessing dress from my wedding dress! As you can see from the pictures; it was gorgeous. After she made the blessing dress, Lisa used what was left of my wedding dress and crafted a white blanket. The blessing dress will be a keepsake for Elsa, and the blanket will be a keepsake for Reagan. Then, both girls will have a piece of my wedding dress.
One of my wonderful neighbors hand-crocheted baby booties for Elsa. They are so beautiful.
Elsa looked so pretty on her blessing day, thanks in large part, to the talents of other people.

I so love that her dress is your wedding dress, what a fantastic idea and can't even handle those crocheted booties! She's a doll and you're so lucky to have such talented friends. You look great by-the-way!
